Overview The session starts with an introduction of fundamental concepts and characteristics of Web services. It will be followed by the detailed explanation on how to implement, how to describe, how to register, how to discover, and how to invoke Web services. The Web services standards SOAP, WSDL, UDDI will be described and demonstrated in detail. In addition, the ebXML standard, which defines the framework for global electronic market place will be talked about. Also the tools for building and deploying Web services will be discussed.
