Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE Platform ) Best Practices

Overview In this talk we will examine some best practices and design patterns for Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) architecture. The aim is to review some of the best techniques for designing and building software solutions for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE). We will discuss how to address flexibility, performance, security, and manageability issues with a series of general guidelines, and how to apply these guidelines using real-world architectures and design patterns to create applications for the J2EE platform. We also will investigate additional best practices for creating high-performance and reliable applications. Finally, we will review how to architect EJB technology when using the Java Message Service (JMS) API and the J2EE Connector Architecture for application integration.
