Overview This white paper provides the detailed steps to use when implementing Oracle Applications 11i in a split configuration, where the applications software runs on an HP-UX PA-RISC server and the Oracle database (9.2) server runs on an HP-UX Itanium 2 based server. In addition, this document includes procedures for upgrading from an Oracle 8.1.7 database on HP-UX PA-RISC to an Oracle 9.2 database on HP-UX Itanium2-based server.
