Microsoft Visual Basic Series Part 4 - Deploying Microsoft Windows Forms Applications Using Visual Basic .NET

Overview This session will focus entirely on shifting existing Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 applications to Visual Basic .NET. We will examine the differences in deployment, contrasting the issues surrounding Visual Basic 6.0 COM objects and the registry with the simpler Visual Basic .NET deployments that use Microsoft .NET No-Touch Deployment and Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI). We'll look at all aspects of a successful Visual Basic .NET deployment, including installation, application manifests, and versioning.
