Erewash Borough Council Chooses an Oracle Platform to Achieve E-Government Targets

Overview The Mi Services Group offers services to cover every aspect of an IT project lifecycle, including business process analysis and re-engineering, implementation, consultancy, and training. In line with national government guidelines, Erewash Borough Council is required to meet certain e-government targets by 2005. As the first step in this process, the Council sought to consolidate its corporate financial processes into an integrated system that would provide a platform for ongoing development for the next ten years. The Council considered proposals from across the market. However, what they needed was a tier one solution for a tier two price. They were surprised to receive the lowest bid from Oracle and finally settled for it.
