Building Manufacturer Streamlines HR System with Abra Suite

Overview Modtech, a Perris, Calif.-based manufacturer of modular buildings, needed a complete HR solution that would streamline its current functions and be compatible with its existing accounting solution, Platinum for Windows by Best. In early 1998, Modtech selected Best Software's Abra Suite for its HR needs, including payroll and attendance, and other modules. In fact, Abra enabled Modtech to process 5,000+ W-2s for the year 2000 - from four different locations in less than five hours - a feat virtually unheard of in the industry. In addition, quarterly federal and state reports for employees can also be maintained through Abra Payroll more accurately and easily than with its previous system.
