Electric Cooperative Finds Peace with Abra Solutions
Overview Peace River Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PRECO) is a not-for-profit distribution cooperative headquartered in Wauchula, Fl. The Cooperative's geographic dispersion was one factor that led it to select Best Software and, specifically, Abra HR and Abra Payroll. The Abra modules enable PRECO to network several offices together and rollup disparate HR, payroll, hiring, and training data into a single database for easier reporting and analysis among its HR department and within the executive management team. Abra also is helping with the organization's succession planning requirements by tracking every employee's skill set. PRECO is able to monitor employee progress and match appropriate skills and capabilities with job descriptions. Today, PRECO is implementing Abra's Employee Self-Service module to provide employees with online access to their training and educational progress.
