Alaska Airlines Increased Online Database Availability to 24/7 with Solutions that Include MAXM Reorg/EP for IMS
Overview Alaska Airlines is the ninth largest U.S. carrier. Alaska and its regional partner, Horizon Air, together serve 81 cities in the Lower 48, Alaska, Canada and Mexico. They wanted to give Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members 24x7 real time accesses to their account information via the alaskaair.com website. It also wanted to ensure all member account activity is available on-line. Alaska Airlines chose MAXM Reorg/EP from BMC Software to perform the HALDB conversion and within a month the company was able to convert their frequent flyer database to HALDB.
