Overview USCS recognized that developing new capabilities and utilizing the latest technologies was essential to competitive survival. In a cold storage facility, the complexities of implementing RF systems are multiplied exponentially - the equipment can be prone to performance meltdowns, including frozen keyboards, window fogging, display failures and internal corrosion. Working with an existing WMS system, USCS implemented Psion Teklogix hand-held and vehicle-mount computers that had been re-engineered to overcome the performance problems that typically plague any terminal in a condensing environment.
