Rugby Football Union Scores a Winning Security Infrastructure with Check Point

Overview To execute its strategy and support rapidly growing operations, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) required a network infrastructure that was more secure, scalable and flexible. It had to securely link RFU headquarters and the national stadium at Twickenham with offices in Wolverhampton more than 100 miles away, as well as support mobile field staff who promote and monitor the game. The RFU's first step in enhancing network security has been to upgrade to VPN-1 Pro software at its corporate headquarters. The second step is to bring secure Internet access to Wolverhampton for the first time with VPN-1 Pro and third step is to extend secure network access to traveling field staff via VPN-1 SecuRemote. Check Point gives RFU absolute comfort and confidence in the security of their network infrastructure.
