SAP turned to CompuCom, Palm, and Cingular Interactive to deliver the handhelds, software, customer integration, wireless connectivity, network management, technical training and on-site help desk support for attendees of SAPPHIRE, their annual international e-business conference held in Orlando, Florida in June 2001. The ambitious goal of proving 10,000 conference attendees with mobile access to needed information was successfully achieved in just two weeks.
