Overview This IDC study looks at change management and configuration management tools from the end-user perspective of Banco BBA Creditanstalt S.A., the leading investment bank in Brazil. IDC interviewed Banco BBA Creditanstalt S.A. in May 2002. This study chronicles the bank's experiences with Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest and the impact these tools had on the software development life cycle. Banco BBA Creditanstalt S.A.'s experiences with Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest were founded on a strategic objective to improve the speed, predictability, quality, cost, and control of the software development life cycle.
