Wipro Streamlines New Product Development for a Large Life Insurer

Overview Our client is the world's leading risk and insurance services firm. It has more than 32,000 employees serving clients in over 100 countries from more than 300 owned-and-operated offices. The need was felt to have a single component quote engine with improved capability to support new product requirements across all parts of the client's systems and Wipro provided them with the required solution. This newly developed system is used for distributing new product releases through CDs to the channels and is also accessible through the web. The project also includes conversion to a more universal database, which can facilitate later integration with mainframe based underwriting and policy generation systems.
