How to Install MDAC with a Windows Installer Merge Module

Overview This white paper describes how to create a Windows Installer merge module for Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). This white paper includes a sample merge module that you can use to install MDAC 2.7. Additionally, this white paper describes how to modify this merge module to install other versions of MDAC. If you are using a third-party authoring tool, an MDAC merge module may already be available to merge into your .msi package.
