HP Systems Puts Surebridge on Fast Track, Surely
Overview Surebridge, an applications outsourcer of enterprise-level solutions, is a full-service application service provider (ASP) designed to deliver world-class technology to growing organizations. Surebridge decided to extend their hosted Ariba application to include direct online purchasing from Compaq. Compaq provided the breadth of products and solutions they needed, including the ability to quickly and seamlessly integrate an Ariba-based procurement system with Compaq's content delivery and order management systems. Now, the average request-to-delivery window is five to seven days vs. the previous three to four weeks. The new purchasing system reduces the request-to-delivery window by 65 percent, and improves the company's response to customer requirements for scalability. Using the Ariba-based purchasing system to obtain pricing data speeds up the sales process, and the brief request-to-delivery window makes it possible to implement new clients more quickly. These two factors accelerate the company's rate of growth.
