ABN AMRO to Deploy Integrated Caching Solution for Dutch Branch Offices Using ISA Server 2000

Overview Global banking giant ABN AMRO is leveraging the Internet to improve service to clients while reducing costs, and the deployment of new Web-based intranet applications is playing a key role in this strategy. To upgrade its branch office network infrastructure to accommodate the increase in Web-based traffic, ABN AMRO selected Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000. Not only will ISA Server reduce bandwidth use between the company's branch offices and its data center in the Netherlands, but its ability to seamlessly integrate with the Windows 2000 Active Directory service also will enable ABN AMRO to build a secure intranet infrastructure that provides single sign-on for users and minimizes the administrative burdens placed on information technology (IT) staff.
