Getting Started Porting Tru64 UNIX Applications to HP-UX 11i

Overview This document provides an overview of the porting process involved in migrating an application from Tru64 UNIX, version 5.1 or higher, to HP-UX, 11i. Our extensive experience in such porting activities has identified a number of areas that should be examined in planning a port. In addition we continue to develop tools and other resources to assist developers and this document includes pointers to some of HP's current porting resources. The intended audience for this document is the application architect or developer that wants to assess or start a port.
