To fortify more than 800 applications, Partners HealthCare System deployed a network of ProLiant servers as well as HP StorageWorks systems, HP AlphaServer systems, Compaq Evo desktop and notebook computers, and contracted for services from Hewlett-Packard Company. Partners HealthCare System's infrastructure keeps confidential medical information secure and provides ready access to vital patient data so that medical personnel can make informative, quality healthcare decisions. Compaq Evo computers, supported by a powerful HP ProLiant server and AlphaServer system backbone, grant authorized access to 800 applications and several medical care systems, allowing anywhere-anytime collaborations on treatments, diagnoses, research and education.
