Mediapost Adopts eTrust Admin and eTrust Single Sign-On to Reinforce Security of Critical Data

Overview Mediapost, a subsidiary of "groupe La Poste," is a French leader in letterbox-targeted advertising and a specialist in geomarketing. Mediapost outlined non-negotiable criteria for its solutions, including ease of integration, openness, and ease of installation and deployment. After a survey phase and initial demonstrations during the NetWorld Interop show, Mediapost selected eTrust Admin and eTrust Single Sign-On from Computer Associates. CA's solutions, eTrust Admin in particular, allow various directories to co-exist, including LDAP, Novell, Sybase database directories, UNIX database directories and the restriction directories of proprietary applications. The result was simplified system access and better end-user experience.
