Indiana University Achieves Advanced Degree in PeopleSoft Management with Unicenter

Overview Indiana University (IU) created a strategic plan for building a standard IT infrastructure. Executing the plan meant finding a batch scheduler that was common to all environments. Unicenter Workload Management and Unicenter Management for PeopleSoft proved to be the best way of coordinating scheduling components between highly integrated applications. IU accrues incremental savings every day in reduced problem management and staff overhead because virtually every batch operation has been automated, including abnormal job termination and recovery.
