Baan Helps MCC to Accelerate the Manufacturing Process

Overview Founded in April 1994 as part of a joint venture, MCC smart GmbH was taken over fully in 1998 by DaimlerChrysler AG. This plan was to have the facility run with the help of a comprehensive information system capable of supporting the processes associated with logistics and the procurement of parts, their routing to the assembly lines, quality tests, and vehicle delivery. To achieve this, MCC smart and its technology partner, Andersen Consulting decided to look at an integrated management software package - a modular ERP system - a standard package available on the market, but with customization functionalities and they selected iBaan solutions. iBaan solutions help them control the entire production line for a smart, at any time, the user has all of the necessary information relative to partners, parts ordered, and their location in the assembly line. All day-to-day iBaan users are extremely satisfied with their information system, which they quickly took to. Everyone believes that they made the right choice by picking Baan.
