Overview This white paper explains the definition, impact and the future of Web services. Web Services is not something one gets automatically by using a browser to access corporate information. In fact, Web Services is much more than Web enablement ? it is a two-way dialog that integrates different applications. Web Services is a new integration technology that allows applications on different systems ? either within an organization (via the intranet) or between two entities (via the internet) ? to pass data back and forth.
