Dell Delivers Leadership in Dual-CPU Servers

Overview The PowerEdge 1650 offers industry-leading expandability and RAS (reliability, availability and serviceability) features among ultra dense server products from major Intel-OEMs in today's market. It costs up to 25% less than the previous 1U server product from Dell. In January, Dell PowerEdge 1650 achieved the highest SPECweb99 benchmark result produced by dual- CPU servers. With these two new PowerEdge models, Dell has strengthened its dual-CPU Intel server price leadership with product enhancements.
