Overview This paper provides an overview of the JBus architecture. The Jbus interconnect features a 128-bit packet-switched, split-transaction request and data bus that delivers the high bandwidth and low latency needed for network communications and high performance applications. The bus features a flexible, extensible and easily implemented structure that supports multiple processors and multiple I/O bus bridges.
