Bang Networks Uses the Cisco Content Switching Module to Build the Real-Time Internet
Overview Bang Networks technology is unique in its ability to maintain millions of simultaneous connections that enable event-driven, live updates to open Web pages and applications. Bang Networks requires fully redundant systems that provide high switching throughput and fast, scalable load balancing across multiple Bang Object Routers within a highly available, high-performance network infrastructure at its data centers. After careful review, Bang Networks selected Cisco Systems as its primary network vendor because the Cisco solution offers the high performance and functionality it needs. The standards-based Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data) environment allows Bang Networks to add any standards-based components and applications it might need to provide value to its customers. Cisco gave us outstanding service and support both before and after delivery. One of the reasons we chose to work with Cisco is that they develop and support very good products, including the CSM.
