France Telecom's SNPI Division Calls on CA's Unicenter
Overview France Telecom is one of the world's leading telecommunications providers. SNPI manages over 800 core business applications for France Telecom, including subscriber invoicing. In a recent review of the 50 data centers that provide call details for France Telecom's invoice generation, SNPI determined that it could realize significant network infrastructure cost savings, without losing X.25 functionality, by replacing its SNA communications controllers with TCP/IP routers and Unicenter TCPaccess X.25 Server. In a short time since deploying CA's Unicenter TCPaccess X.25 Server solution, SNPI has realized significant operational cost savings.
