Overview This paper provides basic I/O performance information for the A6794-60001 LAN/SCSI core I/O card provided in the hp server rp7410. This paper is not an exhaustive source for hp LAN and SCSI adapter performance information. It provides a guideline for expected performance from the A6794-60001 core I/O card. The hp server rp7410 is the most dependable, adaptable, and efficient midrange server for the data center. The rp7410 brings added efficiency and economy of operation to the midrange server market. Residing within each rp7410 is a multi-function core I/O card set. Each core I/O card set contains two cards: an MP/SCSI card and an A6794-60001 LAN/SCSI card. The core I/O card set provide console, Ultra160 SCSI, Gigabit LAN, serial, and management processor functionality. The performance of the LAN/SCSI card is the primary focus of this paper.
