Corner Banca Implements An End-To-End Systems Management Solution From BMC

Overview Corner Banca is an independent and private Swiss bank based in Lugano, the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. The main activities of the bank are private banking and issuing credit cards. Other key areas are financial consultancy, specialist consultancy and asset management. With a new corporate identity and refurbished head offices, Corner Banca was geared up to launch an impressive range of e-services, including an online trading platform for shares and a Financial Laboratory offering a series of simulation tools for portfolio construction and management, risk analysis and decision-making support. MAINVIEW by BMC Software was already in use. MAINVIEW plays a key back-office function for the availability of data for e-business applications. The bank also needed a solution to monitor and manage the distributed environment. After a detailed evaluation of different options, Corner Banca decided on PATROL by BMC Software.
