Web Development and Design White Papers

Borland Delphi 6 at Dutch Television Program Starring

Overview The Netherlands-based producers of the television show “Starring” wanted the show to have a companion Web site where local film buffs could get more information about the Hollywood film industry and gain access to Web features such as advanced theater reservations and film reviews. Borland Delphi 6 and its WebSnap framework was the only development tool capable of meeting a five-week deadline in time for the show’s fall 2001 premiere. By deploying designers and programmers in tandem, the Amsterdam-based E.Minds B.V. created a compelling, fully functioning Web site that satisfied the show’s producers and attracted more than 15,000 unique site visitors each week.
