Borland InterBase Forms Backbone of Security Services Applications

Overview AAM Systems of Moscow (AAMS) offers equipment and software for access control systems and integrated technical safety systems. AAMS services include access control system engineering and design, delivery of equipment for access control systems, and complex systems support. The challenge AAMS needed to develop a software program for managing complex safety system equipment. The software had to operate the equipment, produce necessary reports, maintain personnel working-hour records, and react to monitored security/safety events as they occurred. AAMS had already AAMS developed APACS, an automated access control system consisting of five modules. An APACS security object is a building, an office, or other facility under protective surveillance. APACS equipment includes access and alarm controllers, smart locks, and smartcard keys.
