Nordea Deploys Baltimore E-Security Infrastructure
Overview Nordea is the largest financial services group in the Nordic region with approximately EUR 230 billion in total assets. As one of Europe's leading financial institutions, Nordea has always been conscious of delivering leading-edge products and services to its customer base. Naturally, financial services provided over a public network (such as the Internet) require the support of a secure and trusted infrastructure. As part of its plans to meet internal and external infrastructure requirements, Nordea looked to the Identrus initiative to help build world-class security and trust into its new range of on-line products and services. Delivering a complete infrastructure for the creation and management of Digital Certificates and digital signatures, Baltimore UniCERT enables Nordea to clearly identify and verify the authenticity of electronic trading partners, and ensure integrity of information and non-repudiation of electronic transactions.
