Triple-C, Inc. Reduces Cost and Improves Service with New Data Warehouse
Overview Triple-C is the managed care subsidiary of Triple-S, Inc., (Blue Shield of Puerto Rico), Puerto Rico’s largest health care insurance provider. Triple-C’s challenge was to move from the old business model where, in general, the health care providers set the costs and care, to one where costs and care were regulated and managed. To be competitive in this new market, Triple-C researchers and analysts needed information access to not only meet the new regulations but also manage the business in an effective and efficient manner that only a Sybase Data Warehouse solution could offer. Triple-S is now moving to the Web using Sybase’s Enterprise Application Server (EAServer) to allow for increased access to the data warehouse.
