Orbix E2A Application Server Platform

Overview IONA’s Application Server Platform is an application deployment infrastructure designed for today’s heterogeneous, distributed IT environment. It provides a set of technologies for building new applications – and exposing existing applications – with standards-based interfaces, which dramatically reduces the cost of integration and reuse. It also delivers a unique set of runtime enterprise services – for security, messaging, management, transactions, and fault tolerance and load balancing – that, out of the box, makes disparate, integrated applications behave as a single system.
