Just Say No: Customers Ditch Traditional Software for Web Services

Overview Internet business service providers (IBSPs) develop their software as hosted, Web-delivered services from the ground up. Most began as startups, competing against both established independent software vendors (ISVs) that sell licensed software for in-house deployment and “traditional” application service providers (ASPs) that deliver ISV software in a hosted, subscription model.
