SKP-100 Specification - Gigabit Network Security Processor

Overview The SKP-100 is a high performance security processor designed to meet the demands of next generation secure networking equipment. It provides pipe speed encryption and decryption operations at data rates up to OC-48 (~2.4 Gbps). SKP-100 uses standard symmetric encryption algorithms such as DES, 3 DES, and Rijndael. SKP-100 has a unique system architecture that combines speed, simplicity and scalability to address performance and integration issues. Typical applications include Routers, Servers, Switches, and Gateways, in LAN/WAN environments forming VPN Network topologies. SKP-100 with StealthKey™ also provides new opportunities for storage networks such as SANs, NAS and SSPs.
