Deployment of Mobile IP Enterprise and Public Solutions

Overview This White Paper contains a discussion of the deployment status of Mobile IP. A clear distinction is made between enterprise solutions and public solutions. The purpose is to give the user an overview of the different characteristics of the enterprise and public domains, and also how the currently available Mobile IP solutions can be applied.

Apart from the mobility aspect the paper also considers secure mobile access in terms of VPN technology in conjunction with Mobile IP. The paper does not describe in detail any specific architecture or specific product. The White Paper should be of interest to system architects as well as sales and marketing personnel.
