Overview Macromedia Flash™ files make excellent graphics in Director. They are scalable, look great at any resolution and are amazingly small. There are over fifty Lingo™ commands related to the Macromedia Flash file format, which gives Director developers an incredible amount of control over Macromedia Flash movies that are not available to Macromedia Flash by itself. Using vector-based Macromedia Flash movies, Director applications can become significantly lighter.
