WM97/Falcon-A is a Word macro virus. It replicates with errors.

On an infected system access to FileTemplates and the Visual Basic Editor is disabled.

When a user attempts to access the VB Editor two message boxes are displayed:

One has the title
"CVBEditor::ShowWindow() error!" and contains the text "Installation error 0x80000025 Please reinstall Visual Basic for Applications".

The other displayed message box has the title "MacroProt v2.0 Beta" with the text "To prevent viruses the system administrator has disabled Macro editing".
