Interoperability at Utimaco Safeware: Digital Transaction Security

Overview Utimaco Safeware is committed to adhering to world-wide accepted open security standards, which should lead to highly interoperable security components. Unfortunately, while standards were or are being developed, they leave room for interpretation or only require a subset of functions as mandatory, so that different vendors have implemented PKI and PKAs in slightly different ways, resulting in many times non-interoperable security components.
