MTI Vivant V-Series Technical Overview

Overview The MTI Vivant is a fault tolerant, fully redundant, scalable, high performance RAID storage system with industry standard Fibre Channel drives and Fibre Channel host interfaces. The MTI Vivant Block Processor is the heart of MTI Data Services providing Block Services for shared SAN and NAS storage. The Vivant Block Processor features dual RAID Array controllers, with high-speed fully mir-rored cache. The Vivant Block Processor features active/active controller configuration. The Block Processor features controller failover without the need for host based failover or I/O re-direction software.
