Overview The technologies of NAS and SAN will increasingly converge as these technologies evolve and mature, especially on the SAN side. NetApp has used both networking and fibre channel technology along with SCSI for a considerable period of time. So, we actively working towards building links to FC SANs (ref. The FC SAN announcement we made in February 2000). In addition, we see a strong movement towards utilizing networking technology in SANs too.
