Production Line Tool Sets and Component Tools
Overview This white paper introduces Production Line Tool Sets (PLTSs) by ESRI, a collection of software applications for building and maintaining digital databases and for cartographic map production. Developed to produce standard National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) products, including digital data in Vector Product Format and hardcopy products such as Topographic Line Maps and Harbor Approach and Coastal nautical charts, they are currently in use at NIMA, ESRI, and many commercial contractors around the world to successfully employ high-volume production environments.
