WAP Technical White Paper

Overview Open Market provides support for the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and for Wireless applications such as AvantGo and Web Clipping throughout the E-Business Suite. WAP is a worldwide specification for communicating with wireless devices. Open Markets Content Server and Transact provide the foundation for conducting e-commerce effectively on wireless devices. Satellite Server is a caching server that provides the scalability needed to process high volume sites.
